More Pictures From Our Day In The Canyon

Jaidyn was anxious to get out of her car seat and she sure loved running around in the bed of the truck with Kilo.

Sunday + Family = Joy

After we made it to Provo Canyon on our Alpine Loop road trip, we got out to stretch and take some family photos. All i can say is I'm a lucky man. With my two beautiful girls by my side, I couldn't be happier!

Alpine Loop in the Fall

I guess we just didn't know the treasures we have in our back yard.  Rachel, Jaidyn and I went on a drive on the Alpine Loop in American Fork Canyon this afternoon. It was awesome! The leaves are changing colors so the views were incredible. Too bad all we had were our iPhones to take pictures with. For anyone that hasn't been up American Fork Canyon in the past few days, you need to make the trip. The leaves stand out with so many different shades of yellow, orange, and red. It looks like the mountains are on fire. There are some cool little waterfalls scattered all throughout the canyon, some of which it appears, you can hike to. There are plenty of places to park and watch the sunset, set up camp, have a picnic, or just build a camp fire and roast some marshmallows. Since this was our first trip, we just drove all the way through the canyon on the Alpine Loop until the road came to a "T" in Provo Canyon. I don't think the whole drive took us longer than an hour and a half. Time didn't matter though. However long it takes, it is well worth the time and the quarter tank of gas. There were so many people driving through the canyon! Drive slow and be careful. If anyone else knows some good places to visit close by, please let us know. We must be the last people in Utah County to discover the beautiful Alpine Loop drive. It makes me wonder how many other treasures we have in our backyards that we are oblivious to???

I love this game!!

Doctor's

I just had the most tramatic experience. Ok so maybe I'm being a
little dramatic. Jaid woke up from her nap today and was boiling. She
had a 103 temp and stayed for a couple hours until Taylor and I
decided to take her to the Insta care. We got here and tested her and
said she might have a urine infection, but they needed a urine sample
and the only way was a catheder. So my baby had to get a catheder. 4
people were holding her down while the doctor took forever to put it
in. For all women or men who have experienced that, it's not pleasant
at all. I was a mess, I wanted to sit there and scream for her, take
her place if I could. I hate seeing a child in pain. Especially your
own. They have to send the urine samples in to be tested but the
doctor said it looked ok. I feel like such a bad mom for putting her
through this and having nothing be wrong. Taylor just said that we
would rather be safe then sorry. Which is true, but hard to handle.
Well, were going home with a happy girl because she got a Diego
sticker. Children are amazing aren't they?

Here's the first belly picture!

I figured it's about time!

Well I figured it's about time I tell people now. Taylor and I are
expecting another baby!! Yay, were due on April 9th. I am almost 12
weeks! Just a couple more days. Were so excited that Jaidyn is going
to have another sibling.
I can't really hide my belly anymore so I figured I had to start
telling people. Were so excited and blessed that we were able to have
this baby stick. I have been really sick. Not as bad as Jaid but still
a constant nausea all day. I can't complain though, it's a good
feeling to be sick still. I know that may sound weird but at least I
know that there is a little one in there still growing. I will post
some belly pictures soon. It's not huge, but I Definetly can't suck it
in anymore!!

Some More Camping Pictures!

Camping so was much fun. It was the first time that we had taken Jaidyn and I was really nervous. The only thing I was really nervous about was sleeping. We ended up sleeping in the tent 2 out of the 3 nights. Thanks to Braun and Tara Jaidyn and I slept in the Camper 1 night. Jaidyn did great. I should have expected her to do so. She has always been a wonderful sleeper. There is a picture of her little bed I made her next to ours. Next time, I think I am going to get her a sleeping bag. There is one at Walmart that is a blowup mattress and sleeping bag in one. Fabulous idea. So maybe its time to start thinking about switching her to a BIG GIRL BED?? I am just so anxious to get her a cute Twin bed that I am probably not thinking straight. On her 2nd birthday we'll get her a new bed.
Anyways, back to camping. We had a blast and are so glad that we have such wonderful friends to be around. We met some new friends thanks to the Thueson's. The girls had a blast playing in the dirt, going on scooter rides, watching movies, eating treats after treats and most of all getting 100% attention from both MOM and DAD.
Thanks for such a wonderful trip Thueson's. Thanks to my wonderful husband who put up with my complaining about the COLD! Enjoy the PICTURES!

Camera issues..

I have been having some problems with my camera so I haven't been able to upload any pictures. I can't believe what a boring blogger I have become since I have been back to Utah. Seriously.. but on a lighter note. I do have some pictures from my phone from camping last weekend. Here are a couple..

She was so excited to play in the dirt. She played with this toy for at least a couple hours. Her and the rest of the kids just couldn't get enough.

Taylor took Jaid on a scooter ride and you can tell by her face how excited she was. She loved it. The whole weekend she wanted to ride it but I was afraid to take her. So her daddy finally took her and loved every minute.

Jaid's chair!

I got this today for a wonderful price and she just loves. All she
wants to do is read her books! So cute.
